At Daniels Prep, diversity and inclusivity stand as foundational commitments that guide every aspect of teaching and learning. These institutional values inform our pedagogy, foster personal growth, and cultivate belonging. We believe that a diverse and inclusive community is essential to educating students to be positive contributors and citizens of the world.

Daniels Prep students participate in multiple service initiatives each year. As part of their Daniels Prep education, students learn to research, advocate, and act for the betterment of their community and the world, becoming socially aware members of local and global communities. The emphasis on student-centered, experiential learning in lower and middle school classrooms fosters a mindset that blossoms in the upper school into a full-fledged Experiential Initiatives program, which takes Daniels Prep students beyond the walls of Daniels Prep. The program gives students the opportunity to take a deep dive into a particular area of interest through an experience that is practical and hands on. Such experiences are key to guiding young women in cultivating a sense of purpose.

With offerings that focus on creative expression, social activism, student government, and STEAM, Daniels Prep’s clubs and extracurriculars offer a variety of opportunities for girls to pursue their interests and passions. With the support of a faculty advisor, students spend time with other girls around a shared interest or commitment as they cultivate their leadership skills and collaborative abilities. Some clubs change annually depending on student interest, allowing for a ever-expanding roster of possibilities.
